RECIPE CRUDE FOOD BROWNIES | Yummy, EASY AND FAST!
I hope you have an appetite for brownies and don't think: "Oh no, not another brownie recipe!
DELICIOUS BROWNIES OR GRILL BROWNIES?
I have been asked several times whether I prefer raw food brownies or roasted brownies. Yes, I like both, I always think I prefer roasted brownies because you can "smuggle" vegetables or beans into the dough and they also contain less fat (at least my recipe is low fat).
But after trying these raw vegan brownies, I'm no longer sure because they are very delicious. So yes, I like both of these variations, and these brownies, which don't need to be roasted, are also relatively low in fat. Oh, and did I mention that they are also vegan, gluten-free, grain-free, healthy and free from refined sugar ?! 🙂
CRUDE FOOD BROWNIES WITH ONLY 6 INGREDIENTS
Healthy raw vegan brownies contain only 6 ingredients, namely: dates, flaxseeds, cocoa powder, peanut protein powder (or peanuts of your choice), vanilla and agave syrup for glaze. You can use almonds (or beans/seeds of your choice) instead of bean protein powder, I tried it and it also tastes very good.
However, I really like the taste of peanuts and because of that variant with peanut protein powder is my favorite. You can order it online, available on Amazon with the name PB2. If you mix the fine powder with water or agave syrup, you get creamy peanut butter!
CANAPES BROWNIE
Raw brownies or uncooked brownies are usually larger (more calories and fat) than roasted brownies. That's why I prefer to cut raw brownies into small pieces.
You can then call them snack brownies and I think they not only look sweeter than normal-sized brownies, but they can also be transported optimally in a bento box. When I eat this piece of brownie, it's often enough for me as a dessert and satisfies my chocolate craving.
This vegan brownie tastes almost like chocolate. And of course, you can eat more than just a brownie snack, after all, it's healthy. 😀

INGREDIENTS
Moist Material:
- 130 g of dates
- Vanilla porridge or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry material:
- 65 g of flaxseed
- 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 32 g of finely ground beans of your choice eg. Almonds or nuts
- A little salt
Low-fat chocolate glaze
- 80 g of agave syrup or maple syrup
- 24 g PB2 (* see note)
- 18 g of cocoa powder
INSTRUCTIONS
- Finely ground linseed in an electric spice/coffee grinder or blender. Or, you can buy ground hemp seeds and use them.
- Mix all dry ingredients in a shredder, then add dates and vanilla, and continue to mix until the masses stick when you press them together with your fingers.
- Place the rectangular shape (mine size 13x13 cm) with baking paper. If your shape is bigger, double the recipe. It is best to let the baking paper hang on the mold so you can get brownies from the mold later.
- Press the brownie mixture evenly into the mold.
- For chocolate icing, you only need to stir all the ingredients in a small bowl with a whisk.
- Spread the glaze on the brownies mixture and place the mold in the freezer for about 1-2 hours.
- Cut raw brownies into 16 equal-sized pieces (bite of brownies). You can store it in the freezer and take it out 10 minutes before eating. Bon appetit!
Note
- For chocolate icing, you can also use 1 1/2 - 2 tablespoons of normal peanut butter or other peanut butter instead of peanut protein powder (PB2) (but then you have to use a little less liquid/sweet).
- You can replace some of the agave syrup with water if you don't like it too sweet.
- Calories refer to brownies, provided the brownies have been cut into 16 small portions.
